ACADEMY

At McMinn United, we have a youth academy for players between 3 and 6 years old that has been up and running since before the 2015 season. Our youth academy is currently practice only for our academy players. If numbers continue to increase, we will begin implementing organized games to further increase the development of these young players. Our academy coaches are extremely experienced with the game of soccer, and we are moving towards a more uniform academy program. 

Our academy is made up of several coaches that each take a small group of players for the full season. These coaches will help your players develop at a very basic level through fun activities and games that promote learning the game of soccer. These basic skills will lay down the foundations for these players to build on once they have graduated the academy and join our competitive youth teams.

Fall and Spring fees:

• Players aged 3 years old: $75 per season, one session per week
• Players aged 4-6 years old: $125 per season, two sessions per week

Fall 2024 Schedule:

• First session: Tuesday, August 20
• Last session: Thursday, October 24
• Players aged 3 years old: Tuesday nights from 6 - 7 pm
• Players aged 4-6 years old: Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 - 7 pm

How to pay:

• Bring a check or cash payment to the first night of academy to our registration table
• We will have a list of all who completed registration online for increased efficiency
• We will have the table set up and the fields open around 5:45 pm for registration
